Racism is Greed

The sixth drawing in a series entitled "The Seven Deadly Sins of Racism." Greed has no face, greed has no race. I could've portrayed a man in a expensive suit, but instead I chose to draw a characterization. Greed here is a man covered in gold, flaunting his wealth upon his person for everyone to see. But here gold is also a slave collar around his neck, shackles around his wrist, and an all-seeing eye that is constantly controlling him. It doesn't matter who you are and what your skin color is. Your wealth does not entitle you and it does not give you the right to look down upon others as if they are beneath you. Once we begin to let go of the obsession over flaunting money to feel better than others, the progression of equality, racial and social, will follow. "Codicia" is Spanish for Greed.
